Bonnaroo 2016 Lineup

Even though the some of the lineup was leaked last week, I wanted to wait until the formal announcement was made before talking about Bonnaroo. Sometimes information could be off or not complete.

I’m not entirely sure I will get to go this year. UberApe and I are hoping we will be involved in a major project at that time so fingers crossed. If we do get to go, there are plenty of acts to be excited for. Take a look at the lineup after the jump:

Thoughts:

I am supremely excited for Pearl Jam. I have never seen them live (something always comes up and I don’t get to go) and if we are at Bonnaroo, they will be the act I would look forward to the most.

The entire festival will be suffering from a contact high during the Dead & Company’s two sets.

UberApe is really happy to see Ween on the lineup. He is a huge fan, so much so that we will be in Colorado for all three days of their reunion shows. I will probably still be very Ween-ed out so I may pass on their set, especially if there is a chance to see another interesting band.

Death Cab for Cute and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis make me want to face palm.

Very curious as to see what friends Judd Apatow will bring with him. And to see Adam Devine’s standup.

The big headliners are great, but if I were going I would look forward to The Wood Brothers (have seen them three times and they always knock it out of the park), Grace Potter, Daughter, Leon Bridges, and The Blue Grass Superjam (has been so great the last couple of years). But mostly I am looking forward to being introduced to other bands I wouldn’t have had a chance to get to know otherwise.

Are you going to Bonnaroo? What act(s) have you excited this year? What do you think of the actual flushable toilets that will be available this year? Let me know what you think in the comments section below.
