Day three is normally about the slow comedown. After two days in the desert partying hard, Sunday has some great closers that make you forget your feet are about to fall off and the feeling of being on the verge of a heat stroke.
This year had the illusive and reclusive Sia and the superstar spinner DJ Calvin Harris. While Harris’ set was pretty lackluster and lacking any star power the powerhouse producer has at his beck and call, Sia’s performance was the highlight of everyone’s weekend. She managed to turn a simple set into an art performance that couldn’t be missed. I wish I could describe it to you, but it is something that is to be seen to be believed.
The other highlight of the day was Chris Stapleton crooning out his hits and proving Coachella is not all about the DJ and it band of the moment.
Until next year… (Or hopefully Bonnaroo)
