This morning the newest trailer for the supernatural tale of children with powers was released. Take a look after the jump:
Based on the best-selling book series written by Ransom Riggs, Miss Peregrine’s Home follows Jake, a 16 year old boy on a journey set by his now deceased grandfather to the peculiar home. There he meets several children who possess special powers and live in a time loop to remain safe. When creatures known as “The Hollows” come for the children, Jake must find a way to protect them all.
The movie looks stunningly beautiful as Tim Burton movies often tend to be and could be another fun adventure film for young audiences to enjoy. September is not a normal time for movies aimed at tween and teens, but that might be what this film needs in order to stand apart from the other movies targeted to younger viewers flooding theaters this summer.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children hits theaters September 30th and stars Asa Butterfield, Eva Green, Ella Purnell, Samuel L. Jackson, Milo Parker, Raffiella Chapman, O-Lan Jones, Allison Janney, and Judi Dench.
